Water is where I go to think, to breathe, to process the hard things and celebrate the good ones. Caregiving, cancer, loss, survival, just getting through a hard season, somewhere in the middle of all of it, the pool became the place where I could actually sit with things instead of running from them.
I'm not teaching anyone how to swim. I'm not here with fitness tips. I'm just floating, out loud, and inviting anyone who needs the same thing to come along.
• You've spent decades taking care of everyone else first
• You've been through something hard and you're still finding your footing
• You're not looking for a workout, you're looking for someone who gets it
• You're starting to wonder if there's still something left for you
You can also find these stories on my blog and YouTube channel.
It started as something steady and personal. Somewhere to breathe when everything else felt like too much.
Over time, I started filming it. Not to teach anything, just to document the process of finding my way back to myself, one float at a time. What surprised me was how many other women recognized that same feeling the second they saw it.
This channel went from a standing start to fully monetized in sixty six days, on a fifty dollar investment. I still don't fully know what to make of that number, but I know it means something, and it proved this wasn't just something that mattered to me.
If you're not sure where to begin, start with whichever one stops you mid-scroll. That's usually the one that's actually for you.
You don't need to swim. You don't need equipment. You don't
need to have it figured out.
You just need to be willing to float for a minute.
